  There are simple ways on repairing a Dim LCD Monitor. Below I will show you the step by step process to bring it back to normal. But first of all how will we noticed that the monitor is Dimm. It is easy, although we can't see anything on the screen it doesn't mean that there is no display. It has display but if we look closely we can see the figure.



                  We need also be familiarize with the parts of LCD Monitor. The Video Board, Video Inverter, Power Supply, the LCD Back light, LCD Flex and also the LCD Glass. Sometimes the Inverter is Joined together into the Power Supply. Take note of that.

 Now if the LCD Monitor is Dim, you need to replace its Video Inverter to be able to bring back its original display.  Or else you can use multi tester to figure out what is wrong in the inverter. A video inverter takes an image and reverses the polarity from positive to negative or from negative to positive. This image has a reversed color in the same way photograph negatives do.
